The International Conference on Cross-border IP Enforcement in Africa

The International Conference on Cross-border IP Enforcement in Africa

As intellectual property disputes increasingly cross national borders, the international enforcement of intellectual property rights has become more important than ever. Against this background, Stockholm University and the Institute for Intellectual Property and Market Law (IFIM), through the initiative and organisation of Lydia Lundstedt, will host the international conference “Cross-border Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights in Africa” on 8–10 June 2026 at Aula Magna.

The conference will gather academics, practitioners, judges, policymakers, and representatives from international organisations to discuss current challenges and developments in cross-border intellectual property enforcement in Africa, including issues relating to private international law, copyright, trademarks, patents, digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and regional systems such as ARIPO and OAPI.

We warmly invite you to participate in this important international gathering. For inquiries regarding the conference, please contact Lydia Lundstedt at lydia-lundstedt@juridicum.su.se
